Segovia's Roman Aqueduct

This aqueduct was started 100 years after Christ was born by the Romans.

Miles of great walking lay ahead through rich history in July Spanish heat, but only after a water smooth, air conditioned, silent ride on the 200 mph+ train.  The train cost was $9 and covered 60 miles in 19 minutes.

Strange, but it took me about 4 hours to walk about 9 miles shortly after the train trip  =)

My soon to be 10 year-old son Luke was kind enough to offer Lego Master Yoda as my Spanish mascot.  We stopped for some Spanish ice cream after the long trip to cool off.  "Size matters not."  Luke, I am your father....

Yoda seems to like the Madrid Metro too too...
